Newcastle United fans have been reacting to claims surrounding a potential bid for Marseille midfielder Boubacar Kamara.
A report from the Daily Mail has claimed that Steve Bruce’s men are showing an interest in the 21-year-old Frenchman, with the club still looking for options when it comes to midfield following their failure to sign Southampton midfielder Mario Lemina, whilst also waiting to see what Arsenal are going to do with Joe Willock.
The report claims that the Frenchman would be available for just £10m as he enters the final year of his contract with the French side, with it going on to state that the £10m fee ‘suits Newcastle’s restricted budget’.
Would this be a good signing for Newcastle to make?
Yes
No
This news was relayed to Newcastle fans by @NUFC360 for them to react to, where it seemed they were happy to see him linked with the club, although some just seemed to be shocked they were actually bidding for a player:
“We’ve bid for a player? WHAT IS THIS MADNESS”
It certainly is going to be an interesting one to keep track of, and whether or not he’ll be the one midfielder that Newcastle can get across the line out of their many targets.
