Sheffield Wednesday fans have been reacting to the latest transfer news and rumours involving the Owls.

This comes as Wednesday writer for The Star, Joe Crann, tweeted to say that Wednesday may be considering signing left-back Tolaji Bola from Arsenal.

This was picked up by fans of the Owls, who were quick to share their thoughts on the potential signing…

Has someone at #SWFC got a copy of my transfer target list? First Adeniran and now Bola  I’d be happy with Wednesday looking at him further. But I’m not sure I’d want him as our only senior Left Back for the entire season as he has a lot to learn judging by his Rochdale spell.”

“It’s like we’ve realised signing 27-year-olds with no resale value on massive salaries might not be the only way to recruit? Bit late but good news.”

“Seems we are looking at the right kind of players, finally.”

“Young & hungry. I’ll trust Moore on this market, I don’t think we could be in better hands on that score.”

Judging by the responses to the tweet, many Sheffield Wednesday fans appear to compliment the club for the reported targets, with one fan suggesting that they are ‘finally’ looking at the right kind of players.

Bola spent the first half of last season at loan Rochdale but returned to the Gunners in January having appeared 12 times for the relegated League One outfit before returning to play for Arsenal’s U23s and playing six games in the second half of the season.

It is widely reported that Sheffield Wednesday are looking for a left-back this summer, will Bola be the man for Darren Moore? These fans certainly hope so.
