Celtic fans have been reacting on Twitter to the latest updates involving the Bhoys.

The club’s official Twitter account posted a video of the Bhoys in pre-season training as Ange Postecoglou put his new side through their paces.

Fans were quick to respond to the tweet with their feelings as Celtic prepare for a Champions League tie against Danish side FC Midtjylland at Parkhead on 20th July.

“Hopefully Ange can get the best out of what we have at the minute, but we must recruit quality and soon. The clock is ticking HH”

Judging by the responses, fans are growing frustrated at the club’s lack of transfer activity, but some were also in a jovial mood as they poked fun at Vasilis Barkas, who came under fire during his season at Parkhead.

Celtic had a disappointing campaign last season, failing to win their tenth league title in a row as Rangers became champions of Scotland with an unbeaten campaign under Steven Gerrard.

The Bhoys appointed Australian Postecoglou, who joined the club after managing J-League side Yokohama F Marinos, where the 55-year-old had a points-per-game ratio of 1.66 during his 161-game tenure at the club – and Celtic fans will be hoping that he can change their fortunes from last season and bring the title back to Parkhead.
