have been reacting to a photo of Dane Scarlett that the club put out on social media.

The 2020/21 season was certainly one to remember for the 17-year-old. He scored plenty of goals for the club’s academy side and was rewarded with a few games in both and Europa League by former boss Jose Mourinho, with the Portuguese head coach proclaiming that “he will be somebody in a few years” (BBC 5 Live, via The Evening Standard).

What the holds for the youngster under new boss Nuno Espirito Santo, though, we will just have to wait and see.

Although, if these Spurs have anything to say about it, he’ll be a regular in no time. When the club posted this photo of the youngster in training, there were plenty on hand to fawn over him, with many hoping to see him get some more action in the first team sooner rather than later:

“Time to gave this lad his chance”

It certainly will be interesting to see if he can kick on this season in north London, or if he will be in the shadows for just a little bit longer.
