Former professional footballer Dean Windass believes that Jadon Sancho will be a revelation at Manchester United.
Sancho was in inspired form for Dortmund last season, scoring 16 goals and providing 20 assists. His form led him to being selected by England manager Gareth Southgate for Euro 2020, where he started the Three Lions’ 4-0 quarter-final thumping of Ukraine.
Following the announcement which finally ended a long summer saga, Windass told TIF: “Sancho will be a revelation, whatever position he plays on that right-hand side.”
United have an array of attacking options and with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer telling his players of the plans to change to a 4-3-3 formation according to ESPN, Sancho could operate anywhere across the frontline as he has done throughout his career.
Sancho will be the next player on a long list of players to cross the Manchester divide, playing for both Manchester United and Manchester City.
After missing out on the Europa League trophy last season, the Red Devils will hope that by bringing him to the club along with the other talent amongst their ranks, they deliver some silverware next season.
