Leeds United fans have turned to Twitter to react to the latest transfer news and rumours surrounding the Whites.
This comes as The Athletic’s Adam Crafton recently tweeted that a deal for Barcelona full-back Junior Firpo is ‘very close,’ as the left-back prepares to swap Catalonia for the Premier League this summer. Crafton shared an article of his that claimed Marcelo Bielsa’s side were looking to secure the defender’s arrival this week.

Judging by the reactions to the tweet, Leeds fans would be happy with the signing of Firpo as the deal draws closer.
The 24-year-old is primarily a left-back but can also play on the right and has also played at centre-back, left-midfield and defensive midfield during his career, so he could prove a valuable asset for Bielsa should this deal get over the line.
Firpo became a Barcelona player in 2019 but has only made 41 appearances for the club since joining.
He appeared 18 times for Barcelona in all competitions last season, scoring once when Barcelona defeated Alaves 5-1 in La Liga. According to Crafton, Leeds have made the left-back position a priority this summer and Bielsa may have found his man in Junior Firpo, much to these fans’ delight.
