Sheffield United fans have been reacting to claims surrounding a potential move for Ronaldo Vieira.
A report in The Athletic has claimed that Slavisa Jokanovic’s men are one of a number of clubs that have been offered the chance to sign him this summer, although whether or not it would be a loan deal or a permanent one has not been revealed.
The former Leeds United man moved to Serie A side Sampdoria in 2018 in a reported £6.2m move, and spent last season on loan at Hellas Verona, although had his time there extremely limited due to a number of injury issues, and even before that, hadn’t had the best of times since moving away, failing to break a 6.5 average score on WhoScored whilst in Italy.
News of the proposed move was relayed to fans by @The_Bladesman, where it was met with rather mixed reviews, with those against the idea put off by his constant injury issues:

Will Sheffield United win promotion next season?
Yes
No
Central midfield may be a position that needs addressing this summer, although whether or not they decide to fix it with Vieira or someone else, we’ll just have to wait and see.
