Many Tottenham Hotspur supporters have been discussing a news update regarding Daniel Levy that emerged on social media.

Alasdair Gold recently wrote an article for Football.london and while the main topic was Paulo Fonseca’s move to Tottenham Hotspur, it also included a claim about Daniel Levy.

The piece stated that many people at Spurs believe that Levy will not ‘relinquish too much power at the club’ even though Fabio Paratici will join the side in a sporting director capacity.

These Spurs fans are fuming at the news and some aren’t surprised that Levy won’t be willing to give up on his powers at the club.

The last time Spurs won a trophy under Levy was back in 2008 and over the last two campaigns, they’ve failed to finish inside the Champions League spots despite spending big amounts in the transfer window.

Starting with a current Tottenham star. How many PL goals has Harry Kane scored for Spurs?

Protests have been held against Levy in recent months, which shows that he isn’t really popular amongst the club’s fans. Considering how the club hasn’t won trophies over the last many years though, questions certainly need to be asked of Levy.
