Newcastle's all-time top Premier League goalscorer is Alan Shearer but how many goals did he score for the club?

The Toon have been with Puma since the 2010/11 season, but after a long partnership, it looks like they are moving on, and a deal with Castore has long been rumoured.

The Castore badge was spotted by some eagle-eyed Toon fans earlier this week as pictures from St. James’ Park emerged.

Kennedy expects the new kit deal with Castore to be announced in the near future.

He said: “We know the kit deal is going to be Castore and that’ll get announced, you would imagine, imminently.

“I would think, given that they’ve put the Wolves one out in the last three weeks, you would think Newcastle United are probably just waiting for the end of the Puma one; I think that comes to a close this month.”

TIF Thoughts on Castore…

Newcastle have been rumoured to have had this deal agreed for a while now, and it seems as if it is just a matter of time before the whole thing is announced.

Wolverhampton Wanderers announced their deal with Castore recently, and the Toon look to be following their Premier League rivals in signing up with the luxury sportswear brand.

A new kit deal probably isn’t going to be the most important one the Toon make this summer, but it does at least look like one that is going to get over the line.
