Looking at the replies to this post, it’s clear to see that these Leeds fans are delighted to see Phillips being called up to the England squad for the Euros. It seems the confirmation of his selection for his country has not quite sunk in for some of these fans, who see Phillips as one of their own.

Taking into account how Phillips ended the 2020/21 Premier League season as one of Leeds’ highest-rated players with a decent overall rating of 7.01/10 according to WhoScored, it’s easy to see why he has been included in the squad and why these Leeds fans think it’s well deserved.
