Sky Sports pundit Lee Hendrie has made his fears clear about Eddie Howe’s potential move to Celtic falling through.

It has been stated that while Howe is set for a move to Celtic, the hold-up regarding the announcement pertains to Bournemouth’s potential promotion to the Premier League and because Howe wants members of the Cherries’ staff at Parkhead.

Howe reportedly wants to join Celtic and is appealed by the idea of playing European football. He isn’t interested in joining a club like Crystal Palace.

Hendrie was talking to Transfer Tavern recently and he believes that Howe is dragging his heels and that isn’t a good sign for the club. He made it clear that he doesn’t see Howe’s move to Parkhead happening.

He said: “When someone does drag their feet it’s almost like they’re waiting for something else. And that seems to be the way for me with Eddie Howe at this moment of time.

“It’s whether he wants to try and get himself into the Premier League or he wants to go and fulfil a dream up in Scotland at Celtic. At this moment in time, I really can’t see it happening.”

TIF Thoughts on Howe to Celtic…

Journalist Keith Jackson has stated that Howe’s move to Parkhead is now only a matter of ‘when’ rather than ‘if’ and Tom English has also stated that it’s pretty much a done deal.

That should allay the fears of Celtic fans and it suggests that the move is pretty much in line and Howe is only waiting to finalise his staff. So perhaps, Celtic fans should be too concerned and they should remain patient about it.
