Lots of Celtic fans have been discussing a claim about Olivier Ntcham that has emerged on social media.

Pundit Paddy Kenny was recently talking to Football Insider about Ntcham’s situation at Celtic. The pundit believes that Marseille are a big club and when Ntcham does return to Celtic in the summer, he might just get his confidence back to play a big role for the club.

Do you think Ntcham has a future at Celtic?

Kenny believes that the atmosphere at Marseille on Ntcham’s arrival wasn’t really healthy as Andre Villas Boas-had offered to resign. But the Frenchman can start next season afresh and help Celtic get closer to the Premiership title.

These comments were relayed on Facebook by Celtic Insider. Many Hoops fans made their views clear about Ntcham.

What did Celtic fans make of the claim about Ntcham?

Ntcham was loaned out to Marseille in January and the French club have the option to sign him permanently. It has been reported though, that the Ligue 1 club don’t plan on exercising their option to sign the Frenchman on a permanent basis.

Celtic fans, can you get 8/8 on this quiz on forgotten players? First up: who is this?

During his stint in France, Ntcham has played only four Ligue 1 games and he’s played less than 120 minutes of league football for them.

These fans don’t seem optimistic about Ntcham anymore and they don’t see a future for him at the club anymore.

Ntcham’s involvement in the Premiership was quite limited before he moved on loan to Marseille and the Frenchman contributed to only a couple of goals.

So while he might not have stepped in at Marseille in a healthy environment, things weren’t great at Celtic either. So perhaps, the Hoops should part ways with Ntcham soon.
