Tottenham Hotspur supporters have been reacting on Twitter after a report revealed the club are planning a mini pre-season tournament with their domestic rivals as an alternative to traditional summer tours abroad.

Spurs are reportedly in talks with Arsenal and Chelsea over a three-way competition staged after the European Championship final and before the start of the new Premier League campaign, with the majority of the proceeds going to charity.

Starting with a current Tottenham star. How many PL goals has Harry Kane scored for Spurs?

Top-flight teams tend to go to Asia or the USA in the off-season to make the most of the good weather and the commercial opportunities that these trips offer, but travel restrictions due to the ongoing pandemic could put a stop to that this year.

According to the Daily Mail, the tournament is being dubbed the ‘Battle of London’ and claims that although the talks are at an early stage, there is a growing confidence that it will be given the green light, and the Tottenham fans appear to be excited by the proposition.
