Eriksen said that it was “so difficult” to win a trophy before he joined the Italian club, who have recently secured the Serie A title, and that he is experiencing the best moment of his career.

This post then gathered a lot of replies from Spurs fans who were quick to share their thoughts on this latest update.

So, what did these Spurs fans have to say in response to these latest comments from Eriksen?

“Don’t let Kane see this”

@Info1Spurs

“Yeah, couldn’t care less, he doesn’t play for Tottenham”

@CliveTHBN

“Yeah go to a league with little competition. How satisfying for him.”

@gavinspurs

“Firstly he has nothing in his name. Secondly he added nothing to that squad for the season. 2 goals and 0 assists.”

@FingalTottenham

“He can get stuffed. Glad I never bought his kit.”

@Sir_Adam_Pierce

“The sad truth.”

@lawman283

The 29-year-old, who is currently valued at £31.5 million, joined Antonio Conte’s side from Spurs back in the 2020 January transfer window. Since then, the midfielder has made 57 appearances for the Italian club in which he has managed to score seven goals and provide five assists along the way (per Transfermarkt).

Looking at the replies to this post, it seems that these Spurs fans are not happy with these latest comments from Eriksen about how pleased it is to have won a title with Inter or how difficult it was for him to win a trophy with Spurs.

In our view, it’s slightly sad to see that these Spurs fans can’t be happy for their former player having won a title.
