Leeds United fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest announcement from the Yorkshire club.

This comes after the official Leeds Twitter account shared a post on their page revealing that the club have opened a ballot for their season ticket holders to put their names down to be in with a chance to attend their final match of the Premier League season against West Bromwich Albion at Elland Road.

Leeds' all-time top Premier League goalscorer is Mark Viduka but how many did he score?

The official club website says that “once the deadline date has passed, the ballot will be randomly drawn. The supporters who are successful in the ballot will receive an email to advise them of their priority window in which to book their tickets online, pending confirmation of Step 3 changes from the government.”

This post then gathered a lot of replies from Leeds fans who were not shy in sharing their thoughts on this latest update from the club.

So, what did these Leeds fans have to say in response to this latest club announcement?

“This is going to be a train crash!”

@ThisIsGaryKing

“Excuse me, what? Season ticket holders and members should be the lowest priority.”

@ItsDietrich

“Your gonna start a war between members and Season Ticket holders”

@LUFC_Cohen

“This is disgusting. This should be open for gold members only, we haven’t had the option to attend a game all season!”

@AramLeeds

“Oh dear get the amour on.”

@Leemo_LUFC

Gold members robbed #lufc

@samlufcc

“if anything was gonna make this club implode it will be this”

@lucasck

Looking at the replies to this post, it seems that these Leeds fans are quite disappointed that the ballot is only open for season ticket holders instead of Gold memberships as well.

Are you disappointed by this news?

No

In our view, while some Gold members may well feel left out without their chance of attending the West Brom game at Elland Road, with season ticket holders presumably paying more money to the club for their tickets, it’s easy to see why the club have included them in this ballot.
