Leeds youngster Greenwood recently posted an image on Twitter and the picture had him celebrating with his teammates and looking at the opposition goalkeeper while smiling. The tweet also carried laughing emojis.

This came after the youngster grabbed a brace for Leeds’ Under-23s in their Premier League Two clash against Burnley’s Under-23s. His goals helped the Whites pick up a 5-2 win over the young Clarets.

The 19-year-old’s tweet drew the attention of many Leeds fans, who were left buzzing by the youngster’s post.

Greenwood has been on fire this season for Leeds’ Under-23s side, scoring as many as 12 league goals in just 18 games for the side. His impressive performances saw him get handed a chance in the first team, when he featured in a game against Crawley Town (as per Transfermarkt).

This is Greenwood’s first full season with the Leeds Under-23s side, as he joined the Yorkshire-based club from last summer for a fee of £1.53m.

There has been uncertainty about the future of summer signing Rodrigo and if the Spaniard does leave, Leeds will be without an established back-up striker option. Considering Greenwood’s performances, it might be hard for Marcelo Bielsa to look past him.
