The Scottish Sun have recently reported about Cook, saying that Celtic manager-in- waiting Eddie Howe is set to target the Bournemouth defender in the summer transfer window if he does join the club. The report states that while Cook will leave Bournemouth if they fail to earn promotion, the same could still be possible if the Cherries get promoted back to the top flight.
The Englishman’s contract at the Vitality Stadium runs out in the summer, meaning that the Hoops could sign him for free.
