Fans of Tottenham Hotspur have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relayed a claim made by Christian Falk regarding the future of Spurs’ reported managerial target, Julian Nagelsmann.

Speaking recently to Bild (via Daily Hotspur), Falk claimed that RB Leipzig will not allow Julian Nagelsmann to join Bayern Munich this summer, as Die Roten Bullen do not want to strengthen a direct rival in the Bundesliga.

Spurs have had quite a few odd players over the years, but can you remember them? Here is the first one, who is this former Tottenham man?

Furthermore, Falk then states that Leipzig could be open to talking with Tottenham regarding the 33-year-old, and that it is possible Nagelsmann could replace Jose Mourinho in north London this summer – if Spurs can stump up the money needed to lure him away from the Red Bull Arena.

And after Daily Hotspur relayed Falk’s update on Twitter, fans of Tottenham flocked to have their say on the matter, with many appearing delighted at the news, however, others seemed rather more reserved by stating that they did not want to get their hopes up.
