A lot of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to vent their frustration over the news Craig Pawson and Mike Dean will be officiating their game against Manchester United on Sunday.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side host the Red Devils at Elland Road following the dramatic meeting between these two sides earlier in the season which saw Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men run out emphatic 6-2 victors.

Leeds earned a late draw in their last outing following a goal from Diego Llorente against Liverpool which saw the Whites pull two points clear of 11th-placed Aston Villa.

However, the Leeds fans were left far from impressed by the Premier League’s announcement of Craig Pawson refereeing the game on Sunday and Mike Dean overseeing VAR.

‘Oh wonderful!’

The game on Sunday will be the first of the season for Pawson overseeing a Leeds game with his last coming in the first-leg of their play-off semi-final against Derby County in 2019.

Going off the reaction of these Leeds fans it would appear they are not overly excited by the news, however, many were left frustrated by the announcement of Dean as VAR.
