Lots of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to show their delight at a video to emerge of their manager Marcelo Bielsa speaking English in his latest press conference.

Since arriving at the Yorkshire side in 2018 the Argentine has used a translator during his interviews in a similar fashion to which Mauricio Pochettino did when he arrived at Southampton.

However, the video showed Bielsa speaking English in his latest press conference ahead of their clash on Monday night against Liverpool.

In response to one of the journalists not realising he was on mute during the video press conference, Bielsa burst out laughing and replied:

“Excuse me I don’t listen.”

And some of these Leeds fans loved it, with many flocking to the tweet to show their delight at seeing their manager finally speaking a little bit of English.

Seen him smile/laugh more in the last week than in the last 3 years. He’s clearly content & happy here. Good sign #lufc #bielsa”

“Waited for that for a long time”

Going by the reaction of some of these Leeds fans it would appear they are extremely happy with their current position in the Premier League and will be hoping the club is able to extend Bielsa’s contract, which is set to expire at the end of this season.
