A lot of Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to hail the return of James Forrest from injury ahead of the Old Firm derby on Sunday.
The Scottish winger has been sidelined for four months after an ankle injury forced the 29-year-old into having surgery which only prolonged his return to action.
However, the winger came off the bench in the 0-0 draw with Dundee United on the weekend and played the final 12 minutes of the game as John Kennedy eases him back into the side.
With the winger now on the road back into the starting XI, Celtic fans reacted to a video interview with Forrest on the Celtic Twitter account.
“This wee man has been so badly missed, would go as far as to say losing him this season cost us 10IAR, he’s that vital a player.”
Will Celtic win the derby on Sunday?
Yes
No
The winger has featured eight times in the Scottish Premiership this season and has scored twice across his 496 minutes played in the league (via Transfermarkt).
It is fair to say the Celtic fans have missed Forrest this season and feel he will be a welcome addition to their side when he returns to full fitness.
