What do Celtic fans make of Elyounoussi’s situation?
This is currently Elyounoussi’s second consecutive loan spell at Parkhead. During his time at the club, the Norwegian has made 59 appearances in all competitions and he has scored 20 goals, picking up 12 assists as well for the side (as per Transfermarkt).
In the current season, Elyounoussi has made 37 appearances in all competitions for the Bhoys. He has found the back of the net 13 times, while getting six assists as well. He has scored seven league goals (as per Transfermarkt).
A lot of these Celtic fans have a mixed opinion about this Elyounoussi’s future. Some of them feel that he deserves a regular run in the side.
He has picked up a rating of 6.68 in the Premiership this season and as many as 21 Celtic players have picked up better ratings than him (as per WhoScored).
This suggests that despite contributing to goals, he’s not been great otherwise and because of that, it might be good for Celtic to sign someone who is more consistent in his performances.
