Many Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting positively to Dele Alli’s great goal in training.
The 24-year-old has been limited to just 137 minutes of Premier League action this season as he’s fallen down the pecking order under Jose Mourinho, but he remains a popular figure amongst the club’s supporters.
Previously tipped to have a bright future for club and country, Alli has suffered from a lack of form, confidence and game time over the last 18 months or so, resulting in him being kept on the fringes of the first-team squad by Mourinho.
However, in recent weeks, he has begun to feature more prominently, starting both Europa League last-32 games against Wolfsberger AC and, judging by the reactions to his stunning strike in training, the Spurs fanbase and desperate to see Alli rediscover his best form:
“Some of this tomorrow please Dele”
“GO ON DEL BOI!”
“Dele is back, Dele is back, oh oh oh”
“Some of this tomorrow please dele”
“Start him tomorrow”
“Wow”
“cool story, now start him instead of Lucas”
Alli is undoubtedly a talented player, and perhaps we are starting the see the England international return to his best.
