Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting to a message posted by Gareth Bale following their convincing victory over Burnley.
A lot has been made about the Welshman in recent weeks, with some heated discussion about whether or not he should be playing more often having been used rather sparingly in the league so far this campaign. But Bale showed just what he is capable of when given the chance as he scored two goals and assisted one more against the Clarets, earning himself a 9.4 rating on WhoScored for the game.
Bale, valued at £18m on Transfermarkt, took to Twitter after the game to post a collage of the game under the title of ‘Good day at the office’, which resulted in a flood of positive comments from Spurs supporters who were good to see him back to the sort of form they were used to during the latter stages of his first spell at Tottenham.
