A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans have flocked to a post from Hotspur Related, which has relayed news from El Confidencial on Gareth Bale.
Its report claims that Real Madrid remain hopeful that Spurs will still try and sign Bale permanently this summer, despite the 31-year-old claiming he will return to Madrid this summer after his loan.
This has drawn the attention of these Tottenham fans.
“Wow how surprising it’s almost like he knew that”
“Speechless”
“Send him to China for all I care he ain’t coming back here”
Do you want Tottenham to sign Bale?
No, not after what he said
Yes, he would be brilliant
Bale, who is valued at £18m by Transfermarkt, admitted this week that he has used his loan at Tottenham to get fit for the delayed Euro 2020 tournament and had no intention of staying permanently.
The Welsh international has made 25 appearances this season for Spurs in all competitions and had found some form in recent games, scoring six goals and providing three assists in his last nine matches.
However, these Tottenham fans are not keen on their club signing Bale permanently after his comments.
“Nono He had no respect to Spurs with that comment. Bye bye”
“no thanks”
“Unless he wants to half his wages then no”
These were odd things for Bale to say, and we are not surprised that many fans don’t want him to sign permanently anymore.
