Bale, who is valued at £18m by Transfermarkt, admitted this week that he has used his loan at Tottenham to get fit for the delayed Euro 2020 tournament and had no intention of staying permanently.

The Welsh international has made 25 appearances this season for in all competitions and had found some form in recent games, scoring six goals and providing three assists in his last nine matches.
