Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting to the praise Daniel Farke has been dishing out to academy graduate Oliver Skipp.

The 20-year-old is enjoying a season-long loan at Norwich City and has started all of the Canaries’ 33 Championship fixtures to date.

Skipp has helped the Carrow Road outfit open up a seven-point gap at the top of the second tier, with his impressive performances catching the eye of Spurs boss Jose Mourinho.

Farke’s lavished praise on the youngster for his attitude and availability, telling the Pink Un (via Football.london) that Skipp is ‘a fantastic lad’.

Although, many fans of his parent club are worried the German may have jinxed the Tottenham academy graduate:

“He’s deffo getting injured when he comes back isn’t he….”

@Macaully_Moffat

“‘Never injured’ yeah neither was Gio before he came, im sure spurs will effortlessly change that”

@stuart_inglis23

“Get him back to Spurs where all that will undoubtedly change.”

@daretobeflair

“No injuries? Dr.TottenHAM will see you soon”

@liamdole_

Never injured. bruh. Dr Tottenham will see you Oli”

@SpursMan2010

“*Comes back to Spurs and gets injured*”
“The last line scares me.”

Only Max Aarons has featured in every Championship game for Norwich alongside Skipp, so Farke is clearly a big fan of the midfielder.

Whether that means he is set for an important role when he returns to Spurs remains to be seen, but the initial signs are certainly promising.

The England U21 international appears to have a big future in the game, so let’s hope he manages to stay injury-free.
