Tottenham Hotspur supporters have been reacting on Twitter to Jack Grealish’s complimentary comment on Harry Kane’s social media post.

Kane played a key part in Tottenham’s 4-1 demolition of Crystal Palace on Sunday evening, providing two assists for Real Madrid loanee Gareth Bale before bagging a brace himself, one of which is a goal of the season contender.

The impressive performance led to the Spurs striker posting a picture on his Twitter account, where the 27-year-old is joined in celebration by Matt Doherty and Bale, with the caption ‘Brilliant from the lads tonight. Reckon this sums up that game…’.

Kane’s post attracted the attention of Aston Villa star Grealish, who simply replied with a goat emoji. The acronym GOAT stands for Greatest Of All Time, and the Spurs fans were left dreaming of a summer move for the Villa midfielder after his flattering description of their talisman.

“just get the money bags out this summer please”

@MeEatSalad

“Get him in a spurs shirt ASAP”

@scottcurwen

“If Spurs sign only Grealish this summer, they automatically become contenders. Now imagine Grealish and a CB. And I’m sure he’s not against the idea”

@ife_tayor

“Just sign him already”

@EyjolfueAB

“Would love to sign him”

@SMelchett

“Bring him in”

@Nkongho16

“Sign him up”

@jonlubin

“Imagine adding him into the mix with Tanguy + that front 3”

@Joe_Williams81

Grealish’s admiration of his compatriot and international teammate probably doesn’t mean he’s eyeing up a move to north London in the next transfer window, but seeing him lineup alongside Kane week in week out is certainly something we’d love to see.
