A lot of Newcastle United fans have taken to Twitter to respond to a tweet suggesting Mike Ashley will not sack Steve Bruce after their defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday night.
The Magpies’ misery continued after their emphatic defeat to the Seagulls, which saw Graham Potter’s side move four points clear of the Tyneside club with just nine games remaining.
Following the defeat, there had been speculation surrounding Bruce’s future at the club, however, as reported by Shields Gazette journalist Miles Starforth, it seems the Newcastle owner will stick with the 60-year-old manager.
Just hours after their defeat, it was clear to see the anger among Newcastle fans was still high as they flocked to the tweet to voice their thoughts.
