Many Leeds United supporters have taken to Twitter to voice their frustrations at Ezgjan Alioski’s first-half performance.

The West Yorkshire side went into the early kickoff as big underdogs, thanks to the impressive run Chelsea have put together under new manager Thomas Tuchel.

However, their task isn’t being helped by the poor display of 29-year-old full-back Alioski, who is having a tough time down Leeds’ left-hand side.

Prior to kickoff, the North Macedonia international had started 18 of Leeds’ 27 top-flight fixtures, achieving a WhoScored rating of 6.54, and the versatile defender is having another tricky encounter.

Chelsea’s American winger Christian Pulisic is currently getting the better of Alioski and has provided some of the capital club’s best moments in the opening 45 minutes at Elland Road.

Here’s exactly what these fans thought of the left-back’s performance.

“Alioski getting skinned”

@ElliottDavill

“Getting exposed down the left. Love Alioski, but we need better.”

@benji_coops

“Pulisic v Alioski is an absolute mismatch”

@lp2000_

“Love alioski but he is out of his depth”

@BradleyR1919

“Alioski having a shocker again”

@Jimlar_

“Alioski is such a weak link”

@BrowneyBrowne

“Alioski struggling as a left back, ok going forward but has limitations defensively”

@DroadEllan

“Yes Alioski seems to be struggling against Pulisic”

@Barney_21

It is evident that the Leeds faithful expect to see a better performance from Alioski, who is valued at £3.6 million (as per Transfermarkt),  in what remains of this Premier League encounter.
