Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting to claims about how they are set to spend during the summer transfer window.
Whilst Tottenham are going well on the pitch right now, that doesn’t mean that things aren’t happening off it either as the club gears up for the summer transfer window. Although just how much they are willing and able to spend during that window will reportedly depend on one key factor.
According to Alasdair Gold (via @TheSpursExpress), the current plan at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is that any and all signings will be funded by what players from the first-team that they are able to get rid of. This shouldn’t come as any major surprise given how bad the club’s finances have been recently, combined with the fact club chairman Daniel Levy isn’t necessarily known as the man to splash the cash during the window, but that didn’t stop plenty of fans from feeling exasperated at the news:
“This is the same news every year?”
