Leeds United fans have been reacting to comments made by former player Danny Mills about Gjanni Alioski.

The 29-year-old, valued at £3.6m on Transfermarkt, has been a pretty important cog in the Elland Road outfit ever since he signed for the club in the summer of 2017 – making 159 appearances in that time, scoring 22 goals and chipping in with 16 assists as well.

His time at the club, though, could be coming to an end as his contract runs out this summer, although head coach Marcelo Bielsa has said that the club would extend his deal if the Macedonian wanted to stay around.

Alioski was also recently linked with a move to Galatasaray.

His recent dip in playing time, which has seen him start on the bench in the past three games might be an indicator of his future, and speaking to Football Insider, Mills says that he has been given an opportunity to prove himself, but that Leeds are doing well without him so he wouldn’t be surprised if he moves on to get more playing time.

The news was relayed to fans on the Leeds United Insider Facebook page, and after being asked whether or not they would be sad to see him leave this summer, there was a pretty overwhelming emotion:

Do you want Alioski to get a new deal at Leeds?

In fairness, if he left, who would there be to replace him for #GjanniCam?
