Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting to news that they could be about to make a move for Turkish goalkeeper Altay Bayindir.
According to a report from Turkish outlet Fanatik, Spurs are one of a number of European sides, including Ajax, Lille, Schalke 04 and Werder Bremen, that are interested in signing him, so competition for Bayindir’s signature looks set to be pretty tough.
The 22-year-old is certainly an imposing figure, standing at 1.98m (6’6″) and valued at £9.9m on Transfermarkt, and when news of the club’s reported interest was relayed to social media, there certainly was a buzz of activity around his name, although fans seemed to be split on the idea of whether or not they wanted him to move to north London:
“OH MY GOD! i say from Turkey, Altay is absolutely incredible. we must take this.”
Should Spurs sell Lloris in the summer?
Yes
No
Current number-one Huge Lloris is entering into the final 18 months of his contract and with the threat of former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino potentially taking him to Paris Saint-Germain in the summer, now is probably the best time for them to start looking for a potential replacement.
