Nice easy one to start off with, who currently sits top of the table?

One of the topics that Ornstein briefly mentioned was the club’s intended transfer plans, with The Athletic reporter suggesting that the Red Devils are looking to be active in the summer transfer window.

He said: (2:00) “We know United are going to be relatively busy, they are working on plans already for the summer, and they’ve got a few areas that probably need to be addressed if they want to get back to where they want to be, competing for the major honours.”

Are you expecting a busy summer transfer window?

TIF Thoughts on Manchester United’s potential transfer window…

If what Ornstein says is correct, then the Red Devils can expect to be busy in the next transfer window.

This should please their fans who are possibly hoping for the club to kick on and maybe push the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool.

This season in the Premier League, Manchester United have scored 53 league goals, but they have conceded 32, which is more than Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City, Chelsea, Leicester City, Aston Villa, and West Ham United.

So, you could argue that they need to improve their defence.

Upfront, they have Edinson Cavani, who has scored six league goals but is now 34 and the other option is Anthony Martial, who has only scored four league goals for the Red Devils this season.

Therefore, you could argue that they need another striker as well.

However, no matter who they sign this summer, if Ornstein is correct, there should be plenty of business from Manchester United.
