These Leeds United fans have been reacting to a tweet that was sent out by defender Robin Koch following their victory over Southampton.
It’s a win that took them into the top-half of the table and perhaps gives them just a little bit of a fighting chance to grab one of the final European spots, but there’s still plenty of work to be done on that front.
The German defender offered up his seal of approval for the performance, tweeting out a simple fire emoji after the full-time whistle. Koch has currently been out of the side since early December having suffered a knee injury, and is in the process of making his way back into the side, with Athletic journalist Phil Hay recently reporting that he is set to come back in the middle of March.
A date which apparently can’t come soon enough for these Leeds United fans, as they replied to his message begging him to come back so that he could be a part of their efforts towards the end of the season:
“Haven’t forgotten about you, beautiful man hope you’re back on the pitch soon”
Is Robin Koch a key player for Leeds United?
No, we have good cover
Yes, he's a key player
Although an injury like that isn’t necessarily something you want to rush someone back from, so perhaps they shouldn’t be so eager.
