Supporters of Celtic have recently reacted to a social media announcement from the club which revealed a fixture amendment.
In the middle of next month, the Hoops are set to take on Aberdeen in a rearranged Premiership fixture at Celtic Park (per Transfermarkt).
The original scheduled time for kick-off in the home clash for the Bhoys was at 7pm on 17th February (per Celtic).
However, a recent Twitter announcement from the club revealed that the kick-off time had been moved forward an hour to 6pm.
In their tweet, there was no explanation given for the amended kick-off time.
Following the Twitter post, though, lots of Celtic fans flocked to it to air their reactions.
So, what did these Celtic fans have to say about the club’s announcement regarding the fixture amendment?
“Shocking behaviour not everyone will finish work for this. Get a grip Celtic”
“They dont care or give a damn about the support, that is, until it’s time for them to send out the begging bowl of the ST renewal letters.”
Currently, the Hoops occupy second in the Premiership table, meanwhile, the Dons are situated in third, trailing Celtic by four points (as per BBC).
Is the amended kick-off time an issue?
No, there's no issue
Yes, it is a problem
“Ash Wednesday. Poor decision with Mass at same time.”
The fixture was initially scheduled to take place back in gameweek four of the Premiership season, however, was postponed and moved to the later date in February.
It was decided that the fixture would be postponed after Boli Bolingoli broke quarantine rules and an outbreak of virus cases within the Aberdeen camp (per Sky Sports).
“Just why ?”
“Sack the board”
As can be seen in these responses from Celtic fans, many of them were clearly unhappy after the kick-off for the fixture against Aberdeen was brought forward by one hour.
