Which club did Brown join Celtic from?

One of the topics that came up was David Turnbull’s goal, which had given Celtic the lead in the 82nd minute, but they couldn’t hang on as Hibs grabbed an equaliser in stoppage time.

Celtic were heavily depleted after losing 13 players, Neil Lennon and John Kennedy after they were in close contact with Christopher Jullien, who has been placed in self-isolation.

However, it looked like they were going to secure a win when Turnbull fired home, and Dykes was full of praise for the goal.

He said: “That individual piece of brilliance by Turnbull was emphatic; it was incredible, it almost got us out of jail.”

TIF Thoughts on Turnbull’s goal…

The 21-year-old, who is valued at £1.62m by Transfermarkt, stepped up to the plate to put his side in front as he rifled in a fine free-kick to score his fifth goal of the season.

However, it didn’t prove to be enough, and Hibs came roaring back to snatch a point from Celtic Park.

Celtic are now miles off Rangers, and Aberdeen are only five points behind them, so they might even lose second spot if they continue to drop points.

One positive for the Bhoys this season has been Turnbull’s performances, who has earned an average rating of 7.05 from his league displays and has directly contributed to six league goals as well.

This was a fine goal, and we are pleased to see Dykes praising it in what was ultimately another disappointing result for Celtic.
