Tottenham Hotspur fans were not impressed with midfielder Harry Winks during the game against Fulham.
The game was an important game for Jose Mourinho’s men, who needed a win in order to keep pace with the rest of the top teams in the division in the hunt for a Champions League space, or even a title charge.
However, one player whose efforts didn’t seem to be appreciated by the supporters was the 24-year-old, whose last Premier League goal for the club coincidentally came against Fulham roughly two years ago.
Winks has been linked with a recent move away from the club to La Liga side Valencia, and whilst the club might not want him to go, if these comments are anything to go by, these fans wouldn’t mind seeing him depart:
“Winks isn’t offering anything right now. Its like playing with 10.”
Do you want Harry Winks to stay with Tottenham?
No, he's not that good
Yes, he's a good player
It’s clear that these Spurs fans were far from impressed with Harry Winks’ performance, though he did end up receiving a 7/10 rating (as per Evening Standard), so perhaps these fans are being a little harsh.
