Tottenham Hotspur fans have been tearing into Jose Mourinho after reports surfaced about his relationship with Christian Eriksen.
Reports have been circulating in the past few months about the possibility of the 29-year-old midfielder making a return to the club where he arguably had the best years of his career.
A report in Football.London has claimed that the representatives of the Dane have made contact with Tottenham, as well as with a few other clubs in the Premier League, sounding out a possibility about his return to England. However, the report also claims that Spurs boss Jose Mourinho is not a fan of Eriksen based on their brief time together last season, and that he is ‘not sold’ on the idea of a reunification in North London.
Which is news that has not gone down well amongst these supporters, as they tore into Mourinho for potentially turning his nose up at a deal like this, with some taking shots at his style of play as a result:
“So he doesn’t want us to start winning games”
Will Spurs be successful with Jose Mourinho as manager?
No, we need a new one
Yes, he will bring success
It appears from the responses above that fans are less than impressed with the fact that the club are shopping for an attacking midfielder, though perhaps a space could soon become available as Dele Alli has been is reportedly pushing for a move away from North London.
