Supporters of Tottenham Hotspur have been reacting to a transfer claim on Sven Botman that was made by in-the-know journalist Fabrizio Romano.
In recent weeks, Jose Mourinho’s outfit has been linked with a move to sign the Dutch centre-back from LOSC Lille, with Duncan Castles stating so on The Transfer Window podcast (via TEAMtalk).
However, Romano has been on hand to pour cold water on the transfer link.
Early on Saturday morning, the journalist tweeted stating that the defender will not go to Spurs as the player has not been contacted by the club (per Fabrizio Romano).
This claim was then shared on Twitter by THFCReport, who stated that Spurs do not have plans to buy the defender from Lille.
Lots of fans then flocked to this tweet to air their reactions.
So, what did these Spurs fans have to say following the transfer claim on Sven Botman?

One fan even stated that the Lilywhites could be about to make a Ruben Dias-esque mistake. Indeed, Spurs were reportedly close to signing the defender before he joined Manchester City.
