Tottenham Hotspur fans on Twitter have been sharing their praise for Lilywhites midfielder Harry Winks and his latest display for the club during their recent 4-1 victory over Wycombe Wanderers in the FA Cup.

This comes after the official Tottenham Twitter account shared a post on their page that contained four images of Winks’ goal during the match against Wycombe to put Spurs 2-1 up.

A nice easy one to start off with, who is Tottenham's record signing?

In their caption, the north London club labelled the Englishman’s goal as ‘wonderful’.

This post then gathered a lot of replies from Spurs fans who were quick to share their responses about the midfield man and his latest performance for the club.

So, what did these Spurs fans have to say about Winks and his FA Cup performance against Wycombe?

“Never doubted him. Always had that long shot ability in him.”

“We need more of this”

“Harry Winks always gives 100%.”

Looking like he’s Pirlo out here. #COYS

@SrChavez21

“this was fantastic technique”

@palmquac

Looking at the replies to this post, it’s clear to see that these Spurs fans were delighted with what they saw from the 24-year-old during the game against Wycombe and were over the moon to see him on the scoresheet.

Do you think Harry Winks should be a regular starter for Spurs in the PL?

Yes

Yes

No

No

During the game, Winks had 84 touches of the ball, made three key passes, picked up a passing accuracy percentage of 81.6% and an overall match rating of 8.06/10 for his performance (per WhoScored).

In our view, despite Wycombe being a Championship team, showed that he has what it takes to be a game-changer for Spurs and if he can continue putting in solid performances for the club moving forward, he will surely put himself in a good position to get more playing time in the Premier League.
