Supporters of Leeds United have recently flocked to some comments made by Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho regarding Marcelo Bielsa.
During the current round of Premier League fixtures, Mourinho’s Spurs host Bielsa’s Whites at The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (per Premier League).
The two sides head into the game with the north London outfit sat seventh, with their Yorkshire counterparts trailing by three points in 11th (per BBC).
Speaking ahead of the game, Mourinho shared his thoughts on Bielsa, and those comments were relayed by BBC journalist Simon Stone.
He said: “To speak about Marcelo is for the people who know him well. I don’t.
“He was Bilbao coach when I was at Real Madrid. Now we are in [the] Premier League at same time. Has to be a very good coach but I can’t analyse him because I don’t know him.”
After these comments were shared on Twitter, lots of Leeds fans flocked to them to air their thoughts.

With Mourinho having managed Real Madrid from the summer of 2010 until 2013 and Bielsa having been Athletic Bilbao’s manager from 2011 until 2013, their time in Spain overlapped for two seasons.

During their time in Spain, Mourinho and Bielsa went head to head on four separate occasions, all of which Leeds’ gaffer was on the losing end of (per Transfermarkt).
All of Bilbao’s defeats to Mourinho’s Galacticos were fairly resounding, too, as they crumbled to 4-1, 3-0, 5-1 and 3-0 losses between January 2012 and April 2013.
