These Leeds United fans on social media have been reacting to footage of their winning goal against Newcastle United from last night.

It was scored by Jack Harrison and followed a move that involved some very neat passing in the build-up and a perfectly weighted pass by Raphinha to find him unmarked before taking a touch and volleying home. It was certainly a goal that epitomised what Leeds United are under Marcelo Bielsa, and is just a further example of the ‘Bielsaball’ philosophy that he has brought to the club.

So when the club posted it on social media for the supporters to enjoy all over again, they didn’t hesitate to start talking about the goal all over again and just how much they liked it:

“Jack Harrison having his own goal of the season competition”
“The assist and the finish are top class”
“Watch Harrison the whole way up, great positioning and finish!”
“Majestic”
“You’d have thought Jack had previously played for Newcastle with his lack of any sort of celebration! Klich too. Very strange!”
“Tbh he looks knackered but he never really celebrates anyway, just gets on with it”

Will Jack Harrison make the England squad for the Euros this summer?

Having seen some of the goals that Leeds United have scored this season, you do worry what is going to happen with their Goal of the Season award, how on earth do you come up with a shortlist for something like that?

Though, a couple of fans were more focused on his celebration, with the fact that he didn’t celebrate raising a question mark as well as his shortage of breath.
