Many Celtic supporters have flocked to social media in order to respond to a Twitter post from sports journalist Ronnie Charters in which he relayed some comments from Neil Lennon following the club’s latest Scottish Premiership fixture.
The Hoops were held to a 1-1 draw at Parkhead by St. Johnstone on Sunday and have subsequently fallen 13 points behind their Old Firm rivals (as per BBC Sport). The current Scottish Premiership champions fell behind to a goal from Chris Kane but equalised shortly afterwards through Mohamed Elyounoussi to ensure they at least took a point from the match.
Charters’ post quoted the under-pressure Celtic boss as saying: “If there needs to be a change, so be it.” He also said the 49-year-old refused to answer questions over whether he’d resign as the club’s manager, but did admit his side were making it very difficult for themselves with regards to the title race.
How have these Celtic fans responded to Ronnie Charters’ tweet regarding Neil Lennon?
It’s a struggle to finish second nown what title race, it’s done

So in other words he’s just hanging around for his pay-off.
That explains a lot.

There is no title race if he isn’t sacked or walks

Sounds like this could be it.

It’s clear from the above responses that many of these supporters feel that unless Lennon is removed from his post, they will not be challenging Rangers for this season’s championship. Celtic, if they fail to improve, would likely miss out on winning their 10th Scottish Premiership title in a row, something their supporters appear desperate to see achieved.
