The 22-year-old made his senior debut for Celtic back in 2017 under former Hoops manager Brendan Rodgers. Since then, the goalkeeper has made just three appearances for the first-team (per Transfermarkt).

Fair play to the guy tbh. Waited hell of a long time to get a chance and he’s looked a lot better than Bain and Barkas. Hope he continues in goal https://t.co/coiWaxq3s5

Looking at the replies to this post, it’s clear that these Celtic fans are pleased by the idea of their club offering Hazard a new deal to keep him at Parkhead for the foreseeable future. This shows that they like the goalkeeper and think he deserves to stay at the club.
Given how Hazard managed to keep a clean sheet during Celtic’s recent 2-0 win over Kilmarnock and earn himself a respectable match rating of 6.62/10, this proves why these Hoops fans are keen to see him stay at the club.
