Many Celtic fans have been talking about the latest update involving Jack Ross that recently emerged on social media.
The Scotsman has recently reported that Hibernian are currently aware of reports that Celtic are long-term admirers of Ross. It has been reported that the Hoops have followed his career for quite a while now and he could be one of the main candidates to potentially replace Neil Lennon at Parkhead.
Would you like Ross to manage Celtic?
Yes
No
Hibs sporting director Graeme Mathie has made it clear that he is aware of these rumours but he doesn’t want to lose the club’s manager.
The news about Ross’ links with Celtic caught the attention of many Hoops fans, who made their opinions clear on Twitter.

I did always rate Jack Ross tbf. Sunderland wasn’t great obviously but I think any manager would struggle at them. Can we not aim a bit higher though please https://t.co/QsjMCw0GF2

Ross has been the Hibs manager since November 2019. He has previously managed Sunderland, where he stayed for just over a year. He has also managed St. Mirren and Alloa Athletic in the past. At Hibs, he has had a points-per-match tally of 1.8 so far (as per Transfermarkt).
Some other Celtic fans also began talking about the club’s links with a move for the former Sunderland boss.

Hearsay at the moment but I don’t see him not being involved in a Celtic shortlist Tbf

Some of these Celtic fans don’t seem to be happy with these links and they don’t want Ross to manage Celtic.
Considering Ross’ points-per-match tally at Hibs so far and keeping in mind the fact that his team are only two points behind Celtic in the table right now, moving for the 44-year-old might be worth the risk for the Bhoys given their current plight.
