Many Celtic fans have been discussing an update involving Hatem Abd Elhamed that recently emerged on social media.
The Scottish Sun recently reported that Elhamed could be looking for an exit from Celtic in January to reunite with his family. While he is currently living in Glasgow, his wife and son are in Israel and because of the pandemic, he is finding it difficult.
The defender has told the club about these issues and the Hoops could be listening to offers for him in the January transfer window. Maccabi Tel-Aviv could offer him a route back to Israel, but Elhamed’s potential departure depends on whether the Hoops can find a potential replacement for him.

Feeling down and then he looks at the faces of the management team on the bench!

The 29-year-old defender has made seven league appearances for the Bhoys this season and has two assists in his bag. He has picked up a league rating of 6.96/10, which has made him the club’s ninth-best player in the campaign (as per WhoScored).
So he is an important player for the club and if he does leave in January, Celtic must make sure that they replace him.
