Many Celtic fans have been discussing the latest comments from Sky Sports’ Andy Walker that recently emerged on social media.

Walker recently wrote an article on the Sky website and said that maybe Dermot Desmond is ‘blindly’ sticking to Neil Lennon. He criticised Peter Lawwell, saying that it was ‘complacent’ for Celtic to initially replace Brendan Rodgers with Lennon.

Walker also branded it as ‘arrogant’ for Celtic to not pay much attention to the threat that local rivals Rangers have become.

In the article, Walker also questioned if Celtic have any plans for who they would replace Lennon with if things go downhill from here. He also doesn’t believe that Lennon will end up being successful at Parkhead with the current set of players (as per Sky Sports).

The Hoops are currently second in the table but they find themselves 11 points behind the Gers; even though they have two games in hand. They have already been knocked out of the Europa League (as per Transfermarkt).

Some other Celtic fans also rather reluctantly agreed with what Walker had to say.

These Celtic fans seem to agree with Walker’s comments even though they don’t seem to have a liking for him.

Given that they are so far behind Rangers and already out of Europe, it’s hardly the biggest statemen to say that things aren’t quite right and it’s tough to think of many reasons to be optimistic about Lennon’s future at the club, so perhaps, Walker’s comments are quite justified.
