Many Tottenham Hotspur fans have flocked to Twitter to slate Matt Doherty over his performance in the Lilywhites’ latest UEFA Europa League game versus LASK on Thursday evening

LASK took the lead in the 42nd minute of this game at Linzer Stadion, with Peter Michorl finishing off a counter-attack for the home side which began when Doherty slipped at the other end of the pitch, so perhaps it would be fair to say that the £18m-rated man’s error had a significant amount to do with Spurs conceding the opening goal of the game.
