Leeds United fans have flocked to Twitter to respond to the latest social media post from Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland.
This comes after the striker shared a post on his official Twitter account that contained an image of himself holding the Golden Boy award he recently won.
In the caption to his post, Haaland said that he is “proud” to win the award.
Interestingly, Jan Aage Fjortoft, a recognised journalist, recently issued a claim on the youngster’s future, with Leeds United getting a mention and the striker also approached Stuart Dallas at full-time after Northern Ireland’s international clash with Norway, which may have influenced the responses of the Leeds fans below.
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Leeds fans who were quick to share their responses to Haaland.
So, what did these Leeds fans make of this post?

Looking at the replies to this post, it’s clear to see that these Leeds fans are big admirers of Haaland and would love to see him playing in a Leeds shirt at some point in the future.
Looking at his impressive goalscoring record at this point in his career and the fact that he was born in Leeds, it comes as no surprise that these Whites fans have an interest in the striker.
In our view, if Haaland decides he wants to play for Leeds at some point in the future, this would surely be a big move for the club given his goalscoring prowess in front of goal.
