Many Celtic fans have been reacting to a tweet that was recently posted by Hoops-focused Twitter account @celticbible which relayed a report from The Glasgow Times claiming that Neil Lennon retains the backing of Celtic’s board, despite the manager coming under pressure from some Hoops supporters.
Following the Glasgow club’s 2-2 Premiership draw with Hibernian at the weekend, Celtic have now won just one of their last seven games in all competitions, so perhaps it’s understandable why some members of the Hoops fanbase have become ‘agitated‘.
However, according to this report from The Glasgow Times, Lennon is not willing to walk away from his post at Parkhead despite some unrest building amongst the Hoops faithful, and it is thought that the club’s board still back the 49-year-old to lead the club towards what would be a historic 10th Premiership title in a row this term.
So, how did these Celtic fans react to this report on Neil Lennon?
